Blogmas Day 2: 5 Ways To Treat Yourself

With the festive season here, it is generally a time when we tend to think about looking after others more than we look after ourselves, right? But have you stopped to consider yourself? It is so easy to neglect your own wellbeing and general wellness, which is why it is so important to look after yourself too! Here are 5 ways that you can treat yourself this Christmas, dont forget about yourself! I hope you manage to do at least one of these!

1. Take part in self care activities
Take care of your skin, put some cream on your face in the morning and at night. Take regular showers. Say no to things you dont want to do. Take naps. Eat 3 meals a day. Stay hydrated.

2. Read a book
Pick a book, get in bed, turn off your phone and get lost in a book. Reading is so relaxing and can take you to so many different places whilst not actually moving.

3. Give in to Christmas cravings
Christmas is only once a year so treat yourself. Have that bar of chocolate. Have an extra yorkshire pudding. Go out for a meal. Bake a bunch of cookies and eat them. Eat what you want to!

4. Pamper yourself
Buy yourself a bath bomb, run yourself a bath, put some candles around your bath, put some music on and chill! Face masks are good too. Shave your legs if you want, that always makes me feel better about myself.

5. Take a day off and do absolutely nothing 
Christmas can be a super stressful time for some people so take the whole day off and spend it doing numbers 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. No Christmas shopping. No errands. No cooking. Just chill and treat yourself.
