Macdonald Alveston Manor in Stratford-Upon-Avon

Located in the historic town of Stratford-upon-avon, the Macdonald Alveston Manor Hotel is a little bit of luxury for everyone to enjoy. With a traditional tudor look it fits in well with the town itself. It is one of the finest 4 star hotels in Warwickshire, offering great luxury accommodation in one of the most beautiful and historic parts of England (at least this is what I discovered anyway!)

With many things to do for all ages within walking distance of the hotel, it is in the perfect spot. It is the ideal base for Shakespeare enthusiasts with the Shakespeare Houses and Royal Shakespeare Theatre both within close proximity.

The hotel is a perfect venue for leisure breaks, romantic weekends, business meetings, weddings and special occasions. They have excellent accommodation, meeting rooms, event suites, stunning gardens, a great restaurant, bar and a luxurious spa.

With 113 well appointed bedrooms with everything you could need, it would be silly not to. Complimentary water, tea, coffee and shower products, an iron, hair dryer, kettle, coffee machine and so much more.

Only a 5 minute walk from the town centre it is a perfect location for an evening walk or a visit to their on site award winning restaurant. You'll experience fine dining in a warm and traditional setting with attentive and friendly waitress service. The Manor Restaurant is perfect for any occasion, boasting original features including beautiful oak beams and mullioned windows.

The food in the restaurant was lovely, so beautifully presented and tasty. But the pudding, the pudding was completely something else, I could have ate it over and over.

Breakfast is also offered in the hotel which is also incredible. Need to catch up on work in your room? Fancy a lie in? No problem. Have breakfast in bed for only a £5 tray charge. It is 100% worth it.
