How To Be Happy

Welcome back! This post is going to be my own interpretation on how to be happy! 

Choose to be happy. If you choose to think positively then things in life will seem much better, this is the same as if you think negatively, things will seem a lot worse and your thought will be like internally poisoning yourself. 

Live in the moment. Being inside, or being on your phones, watching YouTube videos, playing video games takes away potential experiences that you could have at that moment, but instead you're inside alone. Sometimes it's good to get out of your comfort zone if it means that you experience something new.

Appreciate the little things around you. For example family, animals and nature, they're all there but we never really take I'm to consideration how great they are, and how lucky we are to have these things around us.

Accept that it is okay to be unhappy or upset. You're always going to have some days in your life where they just aren't going to plan, allow yourself to vent, either talk to someone or write down how you are feeling. Remember there's always sunshine after a storm.

Keep moving forward. In order to do this you need to accept what has happened and move on, easier said than done, but don't let your past define you, it will shape who you are and what you're like in the future, but it does not define you.

Get rid of bad relationships or friendships. If someone is constantly making you feel bad then the best way to resolve the situation is to remove them from your life, or from your personal life, because this will make it a whole lot easier for you. If someone is constantly negative about everyone and everything in general, their negative thinking will start to effect you, remove yourself from them.

Take risks. If you always play it safe in life, you will never go anywhere, or do anything in life. If you're not happy with your life, then do something about it! If you don't take a risk then you will never know what could have happened. 

Face your problems. Never hide from your problems, it might seem the easiest option at the time but it will cause you grief. 

Be thankful, and be grateful. Focus on the positive things in your life and appreciate them because if you focus on the negative, it will make you feel down and have a generally negative view of life itself, and you will never be happy.

Give hugs. It feels so good to hug people, exchange emotions!

Eat healthily. Eating healthier foods will make you feel good about yourself and how you look which if you're a body conscious person, it is bound to make you feel much happier in yourself.

Surround yourself with positive people, who can make you feel happier and good about yourself, rather than negative people who always pick faults in everything and don't seem to be able to focus on anything good in life.
